Program
This year's Founders' Celebration is to be held at Cantor Arts Center during Reunion Homecoming Weekend – the final event on their calendar.
Founders’ Celebration commemorates the founding of the University and the legacy of the Stanford family. This is an opportunity for all members of the Stanford community—students, faculty, and staff—together with members of neighboring communities to join in celebration of the success of Jane and Leland Stanford’s dream to establish a "university of high degree."
2:30 p.m. Founders' Ceremony which will include remarks by President
Hennessy, Doris & Donald Fisher Terrace
3:00 p.m. Reception with period music and light refreshments, Doris &
Donald Fisher Terrace
3:30 p.m. Historical Presentation: "Stanford Beginnings: Lost and Found" by Professor Robert Siegel, Auditorium
4:00 p.m. Period Dance Workshop led by Alan Winston with live music
by Bangers & Mash, Doris & Donald Fisher Terrace

Take a walking tour around some of the oldest parts of the University with our Historypin tour. Also available as an app from the iTunes store (In the app, click on Channels, stanford.archives, then Tours).
In and around the Stanford Family Mausoleum area:
On this rare occasion, the Stanford Mausoleum will be open to visitors between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 p.m. Shuttle service will be provided every 15 minutes between the Cantor Arts Center and the Mausoleum beginning at 3:15 p.m.

Parking
We suggest you park in Parking Structure 1 at the corner of Quarry Rd & Roth Way and walk the short distance down Roth Way to Cantor Arts Center. Permits are not required in Parking Structure 1 on weekends.
Limited spaces for patrons with mobility concerns or disabilities are available on Lomita Drive and Museum Way.
